I'm looking forward to progressing KWH's research in resilient solar PV design by collaborating with the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL), DNV, and other industry leaders. By leveraging the role of insurance and our dataset, kWh is uniquely positioned to study emerging best practices and share our findings with the broader industry. 

By understanding a solar asset's specific risks earlier in the project lifecycle, mitigation strategies can be properly assessed and implemented in upstream decision-making from design, through construction, and operations. Our goals are to safeguard trillions of dollars of investments to withstand extreme weather that is becoming more extreme and frequent, and support the energy transition.
