VOLUNTEERING

Currently, I volunteer at the Asheville Museum of Science (AMOS) an interactive museum of science.

It's such a blast to talk about science with kids while they explore their curiosities and have fun at the same time.

In 2025, there is a cool, new planetary showstopper exhibit,

come check it out!

In 2024, Hurricane Helene devastated Western North Carolina. In the initial aftermath, I raised over $3,000 through family, friends, and colleagues to make critical supply runs back to Asheville and Yancey County.

While initially displaced, I volunteered with Appalachia Relief, a crowd-sourced information project that aims to centralize and share vetted, essential information in the weeks and months after the storm.

Since returning to Asheville, I've been volunteering in Yancey County at the Piney Hill supply hub.  It's been five months of providing fuel, food, setting up StarLink systems for vulnerable residents, and much more. I've made some amazing relationships and new life-long friends.
